This 2-hour introductory course, led by industry expert Daniel Mulligan, is designed to provide a foundational understanding of colour science for virtual production. Participants will explore the core concepts of colour spaces, SDR/HDR workflows, and the critical importance of LED tile calibration for maintaining visual consistency and quality on set.
The course covers the technical fundamentals of colour spaces such as Rec.709 and Rec.2020, the differences between SDR and HDR, and how each impacts a virtual production pipeline.
Additionally, practical insights into LED wall calibration and troubleshooting common colour-related issues will equip attendees with the knowledge to ensure accurate colour management during production.
