About the event
This community event is focused on the practical uses of the new technology convergence of filmmaking, VFX, gaming, digital humans, location capture and AI.
While technology development in itself isn't new in filmmaking; cameras get smaller and higher resolution, lights are more flexible, rendering VFX and media transfers talk about terabytes if not petabytes, the list goes on, but the new developments of virtual production and AI are set to be as disruptive as digital was to celluloid and iPhones to a Bakelite phones.
Our event aims to tackle the gulf between the experienced who lack the latest knowledge and those with the latest knowledge who may lack the experience, by sharing, talking and discussing real world experiences.
We set to inspire, educate and foster networking to unite the inquisitive, creators, makers, doers, educators and technologists of the creative, entertainment and content worlds.
