About the event
Virtual production isn't emerging anymore. It's here, it's working, and it's changing fast. The biggest change this year is AI, not the general-purpose kind, but AI turning up inside the production pipeline itself: previs, digital humans, location twinning, virtual art department, look development. It's real and it's worth being honest about.
But new tools don't replace the people using them. A faster render doesn't frame a shot. A generated environment still needs someone who knows what "good" looks like. So this year's event is about exactly that, the human skill behind the technology, and how it's shifting as the tools change.
As always, every session is a demo or a show-and-tell. Real people, real work, real problems solved on screen. No panels. No pitches. Two tracks across a full day, plus the Demo Jam and a Student Showcase for the next generation coming through.
