Attendee Terms
Starting Pixel Live! 2026

Code of Conduct

These terms apply when you buy a ticket for Starting Pixel Live! 2026 ("the event"), Wednesday 14 October 2026, Rich Mix, 35–47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA. The event is organised by Morden Wolf Ltd, trading as Starting Pixel ("we", "us"). Buying a ticket means you accept these terms.

1. Tickets and pricing

Ticket prices include UK VAT at 20%. The ticket service fee shown at checkout is charged by the ticketing platform and added to the price, except where a tier states the fee is included.

Your ticket admits one person to the event on 14 October 2026. It does not include travel, accommodation, or (unless stated on the tier) food and drink.

Student tickets are for current students; we may ask for proof of student status at registration.

2. Refunds and transfers

You can request a full refund up to 14 days before the event (i.e. by 30 September 2026) by emailing hello@startingpixel.com.

After that, tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else at any time up to the day before the event — email us the new attendee's name and email address.

Because the event takes place on a specific date, the 14-day statutory cooling-off period for online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 28(1)(h)). Your statutory rights are otherwise unaffected.

3. Programme changes

Speakers, sessions, and timings may change. We'll always aim to deliver the programme as published, but changes to the line-up or schedule do not entitle you to a refund. If we materially change the event (different date or venue), you can choose between transferring your ticket to the new arrangement or a full refund.

4. Cancellation by us

If we have to cancel the event, we'll refund your ticket in full. We are not responsible for other costs you've incurred (such as travel or accommodation), so we recommend booking flexible rates.

5. Filming, photography, and recording

Sessions are recorded (audio and video) and photographers work throughout the day. By attending you consent to appearing in recordings and photos, which we use for the Starting Pixel podcast, website, social media, and future event promotion. If you'd prefer not to appear in close-up photography, tell the team at registration and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

6. At the venue

Rich Mix house rules apply, including that all drinks are purchased through Rich Mix bars.

We may refuse entry or ask you to leave if your behaviour risks the safety or enjoyment of others — Starting Pixel events run on the community's code of being generous, honest, and never a dick. No refund is due in that case.

You're responsible for your own belongings, including laptops and kit.

7. Liability

We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can't be excluded by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with the event is limited to the price you paid for your ticket.

8. The legal bits

The contract is between you and Morden Wolf Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 13049807), trading as Starting Pixel.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
