Conditions of Contract
SPL26 Patronage

Version SPL26-v1

These conditions govern patronage of Starting Pixel Live! 2026 ("the event"), Wednesday 14 October 2026 at Rich Mix, London, organised by Morden Wolf Ltd, trading as Starting Pixel ("the Organiser"). They form the contract between the Organiser and the company named in the Sponsor Agreement ("the Patron") once the Patron submits the online Sponsor Agreement.

1. Patronage levels and benefits

Gold — £2,000 excluding VAT (limited availability): a Demo Jam slot (8 minutes, full room, allocated first come, first served) · one seat at the speaker dinner on Tuesday 13 October 2026 · a dedicated podcast episode · enhanced event and communications branding · 2 complimentary event tickets · 2 networking passes · a 500-word editorial in the Starting Pixel Round-up · 2 annual Starting Pixel memberships.

Silver — £950 excluding VAT: event and communications branding · 2 complimentary event tickets · 2 networking passes · a 500-word editorial in the Starting Pixel Round-up · 2 annual Starting Pixel memberships.

Where a level is oversubscribed, allocation is first come, first served, based on the time the Sponsor Agreement is submitted.

2. Payment

2.1 Submitting the Sponsor Agreement locks the Patron's allocation.

2.2 Payment is by card (via the payment link issued on submission) or by invoice on request. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue.

2.3 In all cases full payment is due by Friday 2 October 2026. If payment has not been received by then, the allocation lapses and may be released to another patron.

2.4 Prices exclude VAT. UK VAT at 20% applies to UK companies; EU businesses providing a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism; companies outside the UK and EU are outside the scope of UK VAT.

3. Delivering the benefits

3.1 Branding, editorial, podcast, Demo Jam, dinner, and ticket benefits are delivered through the "My SPL26" patron portal and by direct contact. The Patron must supply the required materials (logo, boilerplate, attendee names, demo details, editorial copy) by the deadlines notified in the portal or by email.

3.2 If the Patron does not supply materials by a deadline, the Organiser will make reasonable efforts to include them late, but cannot guarantee benefits that depend on print, production, or scheduling lead times, and no refund is due for benefits lost this way.

3.3 Demo Jam slots (Gold) are 8 minutes, in front of the full room, and must be a working demonstration — no slide-only presentations or sales pitches. Running order and staging are at the Organiser's discretion.

3.4 Complimentary tickets and networking passes are issued as named tickets and are transferable within the Patron's organisation.

4. Branding and content

4.1 The Patron grants the Organiser a licence to use its name and logo to deliver the branding benefits and to identify the Patron as a supporter of the event, during the event cycle and in wrap-up and archive content.

4.2 The Organiser grants the Patron the right to describe itself as a Gold or Silver Patron of Starting Pixel Live! 2026.

4.3 Editorial and podcast content follows Starting Pixel's editorial style; the Organiser may lightly edit supplied copy for length and tone and will agree material changes with the Patron.

5. Changes and cancellation

5.1 The programme, schedule, and speaker line-up may change without affecting this contract.

5.2 If the Organiser cancels the event, the Patron receives a full refund of the patronage fee, less a fair deduction for benefits already delivered (such as published editorial or podcast episodes). The Organiser is not liable for the Patron's other costs.

5.3 If the event is postponed, benefits carry over to the new date; if the Patron cannot support the new date, clause 5.2 applies as if cancelled.

5.4 If the Patron withdraws after submitting the Sponsor Agreement, fees paid are non-refundable, and fees due remain payable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Liability

Neither party excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, each party's total liability under this contract is limited to the patronage fee.

7. General

7.1 The person submitting the Sponsor Agreement confirms they are authorised to sign on the Patron's behalf.

7.2 This contract is between the Patron and Morden Wolf Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 13049807), trading as Starting Pixel.

7.3 These conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
