Hi everyone!
It's been a few weeks since the last Round-up (busy times, and all that) so a lots to share.
Firstly, next week is the MPTS event in London. If you're heading over on Wed 14th, Starting Pixel have organised two sessions in the Virtual Production Theatre - at 12:00, Carlotta and I will be talking 'What Actually Is Virtual Production?', which aims to look at all the flavours of our favourite tech, then at 16:25 there is a panel discussion on Location Capture, which won't be what you think it is...
From 5pm we have The Starting Pixel After Party, supported by IBC, where they are going to be making some very cool announcement.
On the following day, there is a session on Real-time automated props and in-camera VFX at 11:45, and at 13:15 Colour & LED Walls.
In other news, we will be soon introducing an annual membership renewal. Starting Pixel for freelancers, students, members of small businesses and Higher Ed will continue to be free, while we will be introducing a small subscription for larger organisations. This is necessary to keep the lights on and make improvements.
